Magical Mermaid Card

Magical Mermaid Card

Thank you for reading my very first blog post! I would like to take the opportunity to share one of my recent projects with you.

A birthday card for a very special 6 year old little girl. The new Myths and Magic suite from the New Spring/Summer 2018 Stampin’ Up! Catalogue sprung into my mind as soon as I thought of special birthday girl.

The 12″x12″ designer series paper (dsp) in this suite is so adorable and features knights, mermaids, dragons and more. I used the mermaids dsp along with some Berry Burst and Tranquil Tide card stock.

For the ‘bubble’ accents I used the new Glitter and Clear Epoxy Shapes from the new s/s catalogue and the White Perfect Accents which are from the annual catalogue. The stamped bubbles come from the Number of Years stamp set which I also used for the rest of the card.

Adding some Silver Metallic Thread behind the number adds a little more sparkle and texture to this magical underwater themed card.

For The Supplies

All of the products (and many more!) I have used for this project can be viewed and bought from my online shop which is open 24/7 and can be found HERE.

Stampin’ Up! currently have their fantastic Sale-A-Bration event on, which means that for every £45 you spend you can also pick a free gift! If you would like to see the catalogues for the Spring/Summer products or the Freebies in the Sale-A-Bration catalogue then you can go to the shop page to view them online or contact me to receive one in the post.

If you decide to order and your total is under £150 then please use the hostess code (found on the shop page). All orders over £25 will receive a thank you gift from me. If your order is above £150, you will still receive a gift but you will also earn extra hostess benefits by using the code. Please contact me if you have any questions regarding orders.
